What you will do

• Lead and mentor an international QA team of three engineers, driving testing strategy and quality ownership.
• Oversee rigorous testing processes and review technical documentation to ensure software stability and user experience.
• Develop and maintain automated backend test suites in Java using JUnit.
• Write and execute frontend tests using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to prevent defects and improve QA processes.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work with 3 days per week onsite in Mannheim, Germany
• Proven leadership experience in QA teams or projects.
• Strong expertise in software testing principles and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Java, JUnit, Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Git and agile methodologies.
• Good English proficiency (implied B2+).
