What you will do

• Lead the design and governance of Databricks Lakehouse platforms.
• Set technical standards and shape data architecture.
• Guide engineers to build secure, cost-efficient, and scalable solutions.
• Partner with data leaders to align Databricks design with strategy.
• Advise on cluster sizing, DBU optimisation, and cost allocation models.
• Mentor colleagues and develop hirify.global’s data and cloud capabilities.

Requirements

• Strong experience designing data Lakehouse architectures with Databricks, focusing on security, privacy, and governance.
• Proven experience delivering complex data programs as a technical lead and design authority.
• Ability to partner with and influence senior client stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
• Experience with cloud architectures, particularly Azure and AWS.
• Guided data engineers and analysts in workload optimization and FinOps.
