Backend Engineer

TL;DR

Salary: minimum £100,000 base with equity (Compensation Range: $125,000 – $225,000).

What you will do

• Deploy to production from day one and take ownership of code.
• Create specifications, figure out solutions, and build features end-to-end.
• Solve a wide range of problems, from scaling infrastructure to supporting customer calls.

Requirements

• 2+ years of engineering experience with a track record of fast, production-grade code shipping.
• Strong experience designing and building APIs, distributed systems, and production-grade services.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Go, or Rust.
• Experience with relational databases, graph databases, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with AWS and Pulumi is preferred.
• Proven history as a problem solver with strong ownership and intensity.
