Salary: £38,500–£46,500 per annum

What you will do

• Develop and integrate carrier, channel, and marketplace systems according to specifications.
• Maintain existing integrations, implementing necessary updates for third parties and internal requirements.
• Identify and implement performance optimisations, security enhancements, and maintainability improvements.
• Translate business requirements into functional solutions and write unit tests.
• Provide second-tier support for troubleshooting customer issues.
• Participate in agile project meetings, daily standups, and sprint planning.

Requirements

• Relevant education to degree or equivalent level in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or Software Engineer.
• Proven experience integrating with third-party systems via SOAP/REST APIs and EDI.
• Ability to write highly maintainable code considering performance, security, and scalability.
• Experience writing unit tests.
• Demonstrable familiarity with PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Confident and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
