What you will do

• Investigate and verify customers, ensuring all operational tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Analyze transactions and accounts flagged by the monitoring system to mitigate financial fraud risk.
• Investigate and manage card chargebacks and card fraud in accordance with local regulations and global Visa rules.
• Perform screening and monitoring of customer account activity.
• Detect and report suspicious activity such as fraud, money laundering, or terrorism financing.
• Cooperate with third parties and internal teams, and support customers via in-app chat and email regarding ongoing investigations.

Requirements

• Experience: 1+ year in the payments or finance function is required.
• Experience in at least one key fraud area such as Direct Debit chargebacks and late failures, card fraud and chargebacks, account takeover, or identity theft fraud is required.
• English: Fluent English is required.
• Strong analytical ability and great research skills.
• Track record of proactive problem-solving and drive to understand the whys.
• Ability to work autonomously and take decisions in your ownership area, with unparalleled attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Fluency in another European language.
