TL;DR

Senior Data Analyst (Fintech): Analyzing product performance, user behavior, and experimenting to drive data-driven decision-making within a product squad with an accent on developing metrics, deep-dive analyses, and A/B testing. Focus on building and maintaining data models using BigQuery and dbt and generating actionable insights for new features and bug identification.

Location: Hybrid, working 2 days a week from offices in London, Athens, or Cyprus. Additionally, 45 work-from-anywhere days per year are available.

What you will do

  • Become a domain expert and collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketers to define and execute the team's roadmap.
  • Develop your team’s metrics, targets, and visualizations to monitor performance and unpack trends.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses to generate actionable insights for user understanding and opportunity identification (e.g., new features, bugs).
  • Design and run experiments (A/B tests) to evaluate new releases.
  • Build and maintain data models using BigQuery and dbt.

Requirements

  • Proven track-record of 5+ years in a quantitative role, demonstrating strong analytical skills.
  • Strong SQL skills and ideally Python / R, dbt.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Matplotlib).
  • Familiarity with causal inference and experimentation.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex technical solutions and challenges.
  • Good to have: experience in Fintech, B2C digital companies, and/or fast-paced scale-ups.
