Senior Data Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Data Engineer (Data Science/ML): Building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data infrastructure for a simulation-based training product with an accent on data architecture, cloud-native deployment, and data governance. Focus on designing robust, production-grade data solutions, integrating cloud services, and leveraging workflow orchestration and MLOps tools.

What you will do

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Translate analytical and data science logic into production-ready engineering solutions.
• Design and optimize data models, storage, and database structures for efficient processing.
• Deploy and manage data workflows using containers and cloud-native tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure services.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across the data ecosystem.
• Evaluate and integrate external data sources and vendor tooling as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python and strong SQL/NoSQL database skills.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure cloud services.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Dagster, or MLflow.
• English: B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with HEAT or similar MLOps platforms.
• Background in simulation, analytics, healthcare, insurance, or fintech industries.
• Experience in early-stage or fast-moving environments.
