What you will do

• Lead and supervise a team of risk analysts, including hiring, training, and development.
• Oversee daily risk monitoring, fraud detection, underwriting, and incident management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies across payment operations.
• Act as escalation point for complex cases and coordinate cross-functional risk issue resolution.
• Support implementation of new risk tools and continuous process improvements.
• Provide reporting on team performance and risk metrics.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid with 3 days a week in office in Montreal, Canada
• 5–7 years experience in payments risk, fraud prevention, or financial operations.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong knowledge of payment methods, fraud vectors, underwriting, and compliance (AML, KYC, PSD2).
• Experience with fraud monitoring platforms and case management tools.
• English fluency required as working language
