What you will do

• Design scalable backend architectures for AI-assisted content workflows, optimizing LLM integration.
• Build and optimize LLM-powered systems using OpenAI and AWS Bedrock.
• Develop secure, scalable backend services and RESTful APIs on AWS, including CI/CD and monitoring.
• Lead and collaborate in agile workflows through daily pair programming, sprint ceremonies, and client demos.
• Mentor junior developers to ensure consistent delivery.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building production web applications
• Deep expertise in AI/LLM development, with hands-on experience building applications with OpenAI, Anthropic, or AWS Bedrock APIs
• Proven experience with prompt engineering, context window management, and RAG systems
• Strong backend development skills including Python, API design, database architecture, and distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in designing and building systems on AWS (Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative development practices.
• Comfortable working synchronously with other developers (pair programming).

Nice to have

• Experience building generative AI applications at production scale.
• Background in content management systems, publishing platforms, or creative tools.
• Familiarity with mobile backend development or e-commerce and subscription platform integrations (Shopify, Recurly, Stripe).
