What you will do

• Negotiate revenue-generating SaaS customer contracts and data privacy agreements focused on North America
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on privacy, security, and AI compliance matters
• Advise on impacts of local laws and regulations, especially data privacy and AI governance
• Create and refine legal templates, policies, and processes to scale the Legal team
• Negotiate vendor and partnership agreements supporting business operations
• Support Go-to-Market teams with training on contracts and data privacy policies

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States with a license to practice law in at least one US state
• 6-8 years of commercial transactions experience in SaaS technology companies
• Expertise in SaaS commercial contracts and data privacy laws including CCPA/CPRA, TCPA, CAN-SPAM
• Understanding of AI governance frameworks and related legal issues
• Exceptional English communication skills
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and provide clear legal guidance

• Familiarity with LATAM and Canada regulatory landscape
• CIPP/US Certification
