What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain FP&A platforms, including data pipelines, dashboards, and automation workflows.
• Build and optimize data integration pipelines from ERP systems, BI tools, databases, and external APIs.
• Collaborate with FP&A analysts, finance leaders, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Automate reporting, scenario modeling, and multi-currency financial planning to improve efficiency.
• Implement security, compliance, and performance standards for financial systems.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and drive continuous improvements for reliability and scalability.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Palo Alto, CA, USA
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software or financial systems engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, and experience with data processing and automation.
• Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and databases.
• Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in fintech or high-growth companies.
• Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect or Anaplan Model Builder.
• Hands-on experience with financial planning tools such as Anaplan.
• Familiarity with financial concepts like budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
