Location: Remote (Worldwide, with exclusions for sanctioned countries including Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, and specific regions of Ukraine). Alternate salary ranges apply in select US locations including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area.

Salary: $159,800—$252,800 USD (up to $303,500 USD in select US locations)

What you will do

• Contribute to the development of hosted and on-premise offerings.
• Implement technical solutions underpinning Kibana Alerting and Reporting success.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Documentation teams.
• Assist in delivering and supporting a highly scalable cloud offering.
• Work on a codebase primarily consisting of APIs and server-side frameworks.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend design & development experience.
• Seasoned and confident engineer with JavaScript, Typescript, and Node.js.
• Experience with platform and SaaS engineering.
• Excellent understanding of distributed systems.
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• Ability to work with a worldwide team in a distributed work environment.
