What you will do
- Proactively identify, engage, and attract self-employed sales contractors.
- Present the Square value proposition clearly and compellingly across multiple channels (events, online platforms, outbound outreach, and field activity).
- Manage the full contractor acquisition journey from initial outreach and qualification through onboarding and activation.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective contractors, ensuring consistent conversion against monthly and quarterly targets.
- Collaborate closely with Regional Managers to ensure newly onboarded contractors are aligned with expectations, standards, and sales best practices.
- Track acquisition metrics, forecast pipeline performance, and provide regular reporting to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in business development, contractor acquisition, field sales recruitment, or channel expansion.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and engaging independent contractors, field sales agents, or similar non-employee partner networks.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and motivate independent professionals.
- A proactive, outbound-driven approach to building pipelines and securing results.
- Solid understanding of consultative sales, opportunity qualification, and performance metrics.
- Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Must be eligible for remote work within the UK.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, payments, POS, or working with SME audiences.
- Experience with commission-only or performance-based contractor models.
