What you will do

• Design, develop, and improve build and deployment standards and CI/CD processes for data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain core infrastructure to deliver scalable, robust, and highly available systems.
• Evaluate and recommend emergent technologies, tools, and architectures.
• Contribute to the design and development of new software components and define version control best practices.
• Improve monitoring and logging using technologies like OpenTelemetry and New Relic.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Infrastructure, Architecture, and Governance teams in an Agile development environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience working in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS) using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Excellent understanding of build and continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Github Actions, Artifactory).
• Strong foundation in algorithms, design patterns, and writing efficient code.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Python or Java developer.
• Knowledge of orchestration and scheduling tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
• Understanding of data processing technologies such as Apache Spark and Apache Kafka.
• Able to work independently and provide leadership to small teams of developers.
