What you will do
- Apply artistic direction to create textures for environments and objects
- Collaborate with 3D modellers and lighting artists to ensure visual and technical quality
- Produce textures such as normal, roughness, and albedo maps within a PBR pipeline
- Optimize texture quantity and reuse to balance quality and performance
- Check texture quality in the game engine and correct visual anomalies
- Contribute to pipeline improvements and best practices
Requirements
- Location: Hybrid work model with presence in Toronto, Canada
- Proficiency with Substance Painter and Substance Designer
- Working knowledge of ZBrush, Adobe Photoshop, 3ds Max, Maya, Blender, and Marmoset Toolbag
- Strong team collaboration and adaptability to changing priorities
- Ability to work under production deadlines while maintaining quality
