What you will do

• Support the deployment and scaling of global cloud applications.
• Utilize container orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes, to facilitate seamless application deployment, prioritizing reliability, observability, and performance.
• Advise development teams on optimizing public cloud resources and support new applications transitioning to production.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure infrastructure meets their requirements and promotes scalable application practices.
• Stay current with the latest technologies, introduce innovative solutions, and address operational challenges through automation and optimization efforts.

Requirements

• Essential skills in scripting or application development, with proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform and CloudFormation, along with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Strong understanding of basic networking and security principles.
• Ability to methodically solve problems and analyze patterns in behavior and logs.
• Experience with continuous integration systems such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins.
• Proficiency in working with source control.
