What you will do

• Build highly available, secure, distributed microservice systems modeling complex logistics entities.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to solve complex business and technical problems.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend systems for freight forwarding and supply chain management.
• Ship products rapidly with frequent production deployments.
• Maintain high-quality standards through metrics and post-mortem learnings.
• Engage deeply with shipping and logistics domain challenges.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Shanghai, China
• 3+ years software development experience with strong engineering background.
• 2+ years experience in design and architecture, familiar with OOA/OOD patterns.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Java, Kotlin, Ruby, Python, or C++.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred.
• English: Proficient (B2) required

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale, high-performance distributed systems.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices including CI/CD, code reviews, and testing.
• Familiarity with machine learning and natural language processing applications.
