What you will do

• Maintain platform stability, performance, and security across on-prem and cloud environments
• Develop software to monitor platform components and automate manual tasks
• Troubleshoot reliability and performance anomalies in depth
• Participate in incident handling and on-call rotations
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize platform usage and improve developer experience
• Coach and support teammates in their professional development

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work with presence in London office twice a week
• Strong understanding of compute, storage, and networking
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes
• Good Linux and networking knowledge with passion for OS-level details
• Basic software engineering skills and eagerness to learn new technologies
• Product-oriented mindset focused on improving developer and customer experience

Nice to have

• Experience with hybrid on-prem/cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of storage systems such as Ceph
• Experience with system hardening and security improvements
