Connectivity Software Engineer

TL;DR

Connectivity Software Engineer (Embedded/IoT): Designing, developing, and delivering Matter/OpenThread/Aliro software components for low power MCUs with an accent on secure embedded systems and networking protocols. Focus on optimizing existing modules, integrating new functionalities, and developing test automation for connectivity software.

Location: Onsite in Bucharest, Romania. Candidates must have a valid visa and work permit to work in Romania.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver Matter/OpenThread/Aliro software components for MCXW low power MCU series.
• Develop and integrate new functionalities for Aliro, Matter, and Open Thread.
• Optimize and maintain existing software modules.
• Perform 802.15.4 bring-up with SoC emulation and function validation on silicon.
• Develop test automation for Matter/Thread/Aliro software components.

Requirements

• Master's degree with 1+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and security on embedded systems with Linux and FreeRTOS.
• Good knowledge of networking protocols.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python.
• Experience with Source Code and Configuration management tools such as Git.
• Fluent English read/write/speak capability (C1).
• Valid visa and work permit to work in Romania required.

Nice to have

• Experience with host interfaces like USB, UART, I2C, SDIO, PCM, GSPI.
• Good understanding of BLE, 802.15.4, crypto algorithms, and Thread standards.
• Experience with AI tools.
