What you will do

• Design and develop automated test systems for industrial automation applications, including control packages, controllers, and IO systems.
• Perform initial spin-up, validation, and debugging of prototype PCB assemblies using electronic lab equipment.
• Validate software and electronics designs through simulation, emulation, and testing.
• Develop system and sub-system verification procedures, including unit and integration testing.
• Translate system requirements into robust test system designs using requirements-based testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and assure documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with schematic capture, simulation, and layout tools such as Altium/PADS and PSpice (or equivalents).
• Comfort working with languages such as Python, BASH, C/C++, and C#.
• Experience with both Linux and Windows development environments.
• Experience with containers, pipelines, and artifact/release management.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer or electrical engineering or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial automation configuration tools and communications protocols.
• Experience supporting several concurrent projects across multiple product platforms.
