What you will do

• Provide leadership and guidance to multiple related departments.
• Drive the strategic direction and implementation of software solutions.
• Make critical decisions related to project prioritization, resource allocation, and technical approaches.
• Foster the development of strong and cohesive software engineering teams.
• Monitor development processes, framework adoption, and project surroundings.
• Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance and motivation.
• Solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions to overcome technical challenges.

Requirements

• Ability to use systems and processes to coordinate between development and operations teams (DevOps).
• Ability to design, develop, test, and deploy software products (Product Software Engineering).
• Ability to utilize and manage applications, data, and services on the internet (Cloud Computing, e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Skill in translating plans and designs into action, overseeing delivery of projects (Implementation and Delivery).
• Ability to lead, motivate, engage, and communicate effectively with a team (People management).
• Ability to swiftly and effectively respond to changes, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and flexibility (Agile).
• Ability to design, develop, and manage Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
