Senior Java Engineer

What you will do

• Develop, test, and deploy Java applications using Spring Boot
• Participate in migrating legacy applications to modern platforms and MongoDB
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices
• Collaborate in Agile teams and adopt new technologies, especially related to GenAI
• Follow migration playbooks and propose innovative solutions
• Adapt to changing project priorities and work under technical leads and project managers

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Poland or able to work remotely from Poland
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4-7 years of Java development experience with strong fundamentals and OOP
• Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, and Agile methodologies
• Basic Python scripting skills and understanding of microservices concepts
• Familiarity with performance optimization and tools like Postman, IntelliJ IDEA, Maven/Gradle

Nice to have

• Experience with GenAI technologies and automation scripting
• Knowledge of JavaScript and ORM tools like Hibernate or JPA
