What you will do

  • Ensure operational efficiency, stability, and availability of complex application systems.
  • Manage incidents, debug business-impacting issues, and take corrective actions using monitoring tools.
  • Implement continuous delivery practices to evolve, support, and deliver high-quality software.
  • Leverage logging techniques for alerting, monitoring, and identifying root causes of incidents.
  • Utilize DevOps tools and practices for software deployment and operation.
  • Mentor less experienced peers and advocate for technical excellence.

Requirements

  • Experience with C# programming language and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong debugging and triaging skills to troubleshoot code effectively.
  • Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Azure pipelines.
  • Understanding of application monitoring tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Comfortable with Agile methods, such as Scrum and/or Kanban.
  • Willingness to be part of a rotation- and need-based 24x7 available team.

  • Presence in the external tech community (speaking engagements, open source contributions, blogs).
  • Resilience in ambiguous situations and ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives.
  • Advocate for and implement cloud and security best practices.
