What you will do
- Transform AI and analytics research prototypes into production-ready, scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Improve code quality, documentation, testability, and operational maturity of research outputs.
- Build automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and tooling to scale technology.
- Establish and uphold engineering quality standards for prototype-to-production transitions.
- Collaborate with research engineers, product teams, and service delivery teams to align technical direction and deployment needs.
Requirements
- Location: Remote with presence in Mexico City
- Expertise in Python, Go, or C/C++.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD automation tools, GitHub workflows, and SQL/database design.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Experience transforming research or prototype code into production-quality software.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, scalability, performance optimization, containerization, and cloud deployment.
- English: B2 level or higher.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude).
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent expertise.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong public portfolio.
- Knowledge of inference optimization and responsible AI principles.
