Salary: $180,000 - $250,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Establish and communicate the narrative vision and story pillars for the game in collaboration with the creative director and team.
• Ensure narrative consistency and IP integrity by partnering with license holders and providing feedback to creative professionals.
• Build and lead a world-class writing team across the US and China, mentoring junior writers.
• Support partner development studios with narrative needs and maintain up-to-date industry knowledge.
• Lead narrative efforts in an evolving AAA studio environment and travel quarterly to partner sites.

Requirements

• Must have 10+ years of experience in game writing and principal narrative design
• Proven success working with major IP license holders
• Strong knowledge of story and narrative design processes including ideation, writing, revision, and feedback integration
• Passion for games and storytelling with excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Must be located in the US or able to work hybrid/remote within the US
