PHP Engineer (eCommerce): Building and optimizing advanced e-commerce solutions and Magento modules for clients with an accent on web service integration, database interaction, and continuous deployment. Focus on developing best practice, reusable code and improving internal deployment platforms.

What you will do

Plan, develop, test, and document advanced e-commerce solutions for clients.
Develop customer-specific and generic Magento modules.
Develop integrations between Magento and 3rd Party Products.
Improve the continuous deployment platform.
Develop and write best practice code that is generic and reusable.

Requirements

Familiarity with server-side web development technologies.
Advanced experience using PHP to create and consume web services (SOAP, XML-RPC).
Proficient with Linux command line.
Proficient with debugger tools such as xDebug or Zend Debugger.
Experience with the GIT version control system.
Understanding of database schema architecture.
Advanced object-oriented development skills and solid experience interacting with MySQL database systems through an abstraction layer, in addition to the ability to write raw SQL queries.
Ability to estimate time to complete specified project tasks.
