What you will do

• Provide proactive legal counsel for product features, business initiatives, and market rollouts.
• Lead legal projects focusing on civil/contract law, IT & data protection (GDPR), and competition law.
• Draft and review contracts, partner agreements, procurement documents, and internal policies.
• Expand legal templates and playbooks emphasizing IT law and Anti-Money-Laundering Law.
• Embed GDPR and security principles into product development and vendor frameworks.
• Advise on AI and data governance, leveraging the EU AI Act for best practices.

Requirements

• Fully qualified lawyer or business lawyer (LL.M) with relevant experience in international companies or law firms.
• Strong knowledge of IT law, competition law, and digital product support.
• Interest or experience with the EU AI Act, AI risk classification, and policy drafting.
• Fluency in English.
• Location: Must be based in Düsseldorf, Germany.
