Lead Software QA Engineer (Automation)

TL;DR

Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer: Focused on building out test automation and processes to ensure the quality of internally written applications with an accent on automation testing and process improvements. Focus on converting manual tests to automated tests, developing automated API tests, and enhancing the existing automation framework.

Location: Hybrid (Edgewood, NY, Denver, CO, Newark, NJ). You’ll be assigned to a hirify.global office and given the flexibility to work remote.

Salary: 120,000.00 – 130,000.00 USD annual. Bonus Eligible

What you will do

• Define test strategy, test suites, test cases and design tools for QA testing with a focus on automation.
• Develop and maintain automated scripts promoting reusable components and maintainability.
• Maintain and enhance capabilities of existing Serenity automation framework.
• Execute automated scripts and perform failure analysis to determine root cause of failure.
• Drive the conversion of manual tests to automated whenever possible.
• Develop automated API tests, tools, and frameworks.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a software developer, QA Engineer, or SDET.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java, C#, Selenium, Serenity.
• 5+ years designing, implementing, and running test cases and performing API functional testing.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches.
• Proficiency CI/CD integration and pipeline development in Jenkins, Spinnaker or other similar tools.
• Experience using JIRA, Xray or any relevant Test management tool.
