What you will do

• Lead strategic planning and execution of IT infrastructure services, ensuring reliable, secure, compliant, and scalable technology platforms.
• Oversee operational and service management processes, striving for quality, efficiency, and agility.
• Develop and control the annual operating and capital expenditure budget for I&O.
• Provide strategic direction for the design, development, operation, and support of IT systems.
• Direct the development of the I&O sourcing strategy and manage strategic vendor relationships.
• Enforce security policies, standards, and procedures, manage incident response, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., GDPR, GxP).

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure & operations leadership.
• Expertise in budget planning, financial management, and vendor management.
• Deep understanding of current and emerging I&O technologies, including ITIL and DevOps.
• Strong understanding of IT security principles, risk management methodologies, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GxP, data integrity).
• Familiarity with network security, identity and access management, encryption, vulnerability management, and cloud security (Azure preferable).

Nice to have

• Experience managing security in regulated industries (pharma).
• Hands-on experience with security tools and services (SIEM, SOC, DLP, end-point protection).
