TL;DR

Design Engineer (Frontend): Develop and scale user interfaces and interactive data visualizations for hirify.global Radar, focusing on performance, accessibility, and design system consistency. Focus on building scalable UI components, prototyping high-fidelity concepts, and optimizing large-format display tools.

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

Design scalable user experiences and UI components for desktop, mobile, and large-format displays.
Build interactive visualizations such as maps, charts, and dashboards to present global Internet data.
Prototype and iterate high-fidelity UI/UX concepts based on user feedback and data.
Translate product specifications into clear UI/UX designs using tools like Figma and Miro.
Contribute to and maintain design system consistency across multiple platforms.
Ensure high standards for performance, accessibility, internationalization, and responsiveness.

Requirements

Location: Hybrid role based in Lisbon, Portugal
3+ years experience in design-focused frontend or UI engineering roles.
Expertise in React, TypeScript, and advanced CSS for scalable UI applications.
Experience with design tools such as Figma, Miro, and component libraries like Storybook.
Strong collaboration skills with product managers and designers.
Product-oriented mindset balancing technical debt and development velocity.

Nice to have

Experience with UX prototyping and iterative design.
Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive interface design.
Experience working on large-scale products used by multiple teams.
