What you will do
- Develop and maintain backend services for commerce including D2C and B2B sales channels
- Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions using Typescript, DynamoDB, Redis, and AWS
- Design testable, secure, and well-documented code adhering to compliance standards
- Support customer care by troubleshooting and resolving user-impacting issues
- Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline configuration and monitoring
Requirements
- Must be located in the United States (remote US role only)
- 3-5 years of backend development experience with strong Typescript skills
- Experience with serverless AWS Lambdas, API best practices, and service-oriented architectures
- Knowledge of DevOps including CI/CD, monitoring, and operational alerts
- Pragmatic and delivery-focused mindset balancing short-term goals and tech debt
Nice to have
- Experience with online payments, PSPs, or digital wallets
- Experience building scalable commercial services for B2B or D2C commerce
