Location: Hybrid in central Tokyo (commute at least 2 times per week)

What you will do

• Partner with Sales to deliver engaging, localized product demos and consult with prospects on optimal technical solutions.
• Lead technical evaluations, advising on integration methods and system architecture.
• Craft RFP responses to position the platform effectively for Japanese customers.
• Oversee and support technical implementation tasks from kickoff through to launch.
• Advise customers and partners on API integrations, architecture best practices, and security compliance.
• Enable partner sales teams through technical training, onboarding, and ongoing support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Information Systems, or equivalent technical consulting/pre-sales experience.
• 3–8 years of experience in SaaS pre-sales, solutions engineering, technical consulting, or partner enablement.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, REST APIs, web development fundamentals (HTML/CSS), and at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Node.js, or PHP).
• Ability to adapt global solutions to meet the technical, cultural, and compliance needs of Japanese customers and partners.
• Fluent in Japanese (verbal and written) with excellent English communication skills.
• Must be able to commute to central Tokyo at least 2 times per week for this hybrid role.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with enterprise software such as SAP, Workday, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Active Directory.
• Comfortable working in command-line tools, analyzing application logs, and troubleshooting technical integrations.
