Location: Hybrid in Chicago, United States

Salary: $129,600–$232,200/year (base salary) or $144,000–$258,000/year (On Target Earnings including bonus)

What you will do

  • Design, implement, and improve modular components in a cutting-edge ML product using robust software engineering practices.
  • Interact with big data, build for scale, and create the infrastructure to leverage its latent power.
  • Apply extensive Python and its ecosystem knowledge to produce clean, readable, and extendible code.
  • Collaborate with product strategy teams and support customer implementations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with Python in a product setting, including 1+ years in the data/machine learning ecosystem.
  • Experience working with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Experience putting ML models into production.
  • Exceptional coding skills, focusing on clean, object-oriented code and terse, testable APIs.
  • Ability to structure a plan, align stakeholders, and see it through to execution.
  • Clear communication skills, both in writing and speech.

Nice to have

  • Experience and/or interest in Ruby.
  • General understanding of supervised learning principles.
