🦄 Description
We are looking for a specialist capable of delivering fluid, responsive in-game animation systems tightly connected to player input. The role focuses on the main character’s locomotion and single-weapon animation system, requiring deep expertise in motion matching, animation logic, and gameplay-driven animation features.
🚀 Responsibilities
• Build chain animation logic blueprints for the main character
• Implement Motion Matching systems (your own approach or a variation)
• Create and improve IK setups
• Modify and enhance combat animation blend logic, including frame-accurate attack timing and cancel windows
• Improve defense animation blend logic, including hit reactions, stagger, knockback
• Update animation logic for single-weapon animations
• Work with animation sequences and montage notifies
• Modify and extend custom Motion Matching code
• Derive new state machines (aerial vs grounded blending logic) and animation blueprint features
• Implement world interaction mechanics such as vault, climb, etc.
📚 Required Skills
• Proven experience with Motion Matching
• Strong understanding of locomotion and game mechanics: jump, dash, vault, climb, slide
• Solid grasp of human anatomy, rigging principles, and control rigs
• Familiarity with optimization techniques for skeletal meshes and animation systems
• Ability to edit animations directly

• Experience with complex player-driven animation systems
• Experience with advanced IK solvers
• Background in gameplay programming
