What you will do

• Contribute to open source testing tools like Checkbox and Testflinger.
• Troubleshoot hardware compatibility, functionality, and performance issues.
• Support hardware partners in certification efforts and educate them on tools and processes.
• Assist internal teams with customer deployments involving certified hardware.
• Work remotely with occasional global travel (2-4 times per year).

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the Americas time zones
• Proficient in Python and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of server-class hardware and Ubuntu Linux.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud computing concepts.
• Comfortable in customer-facing roles.

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation tools for hardware validation.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts.
• Familiarity with virtualization/container technologies such as QEMU, KVM, LXC/LXD, Docker.
