What you will do
- Build and maintain complex character rigs and simulations.
- Ensure high visual and technical quality for all characters.
- Develop directable shot simulations for hair and cloth.
- Collaborate with modeling, animation, FX, and lighting teams.
- Maintain awareness of production pipeline needs.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience rigging characters in Maya or similar software.
- Previous experience working in feature film or a TV animation pipeline.
- Experience in Python, MEL, C/C++, or other programming languages.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, muscles, cloth/hair behavior.
- Strong knowledge of character kinematics, deformations, and topology.
- High proficiency in technical problem-solving.
Nice to have
- History of generating cloth/hair rigs and creating art-directed shot simulations.
- Knowledge of Maya tool development and pipeline design.
- Experience working in Houdini or rigging in Unreal.
- Passion for Blizzard Games and Cinematics.
