Location: Hybrid with in-office anchor days in Vienna, Austria

Salary: €95,000 gross per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable systems processing mission-critical data
• Collaborate with platform and product teams to create powerful abstractions for software delivery at scale
• Solve complex problems related to stateful systems and performance optimization
• Use Rust and Python to address system-level challenges
• Ensure code quality with testing and documentation
• Partner with infrastructure teams to build resilient, fault-tolerant solutions
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain service stability

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work model with in-office days in Vienna, Austria
• English: Good written and spoken communication skills required
• 5+ years software engineering experience in distributed systems or data infrastructure
• Proficiency in Rust, Python, or Go
• Experience with cloud environments such as Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP
• Experience building durable, self-healing services with load balancing and failover

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud and object storage, distributed databases, or caching systems
