What you will do

• Design, build, and technically support analytics solutions on MS Azure and Databricks.
• Translate hirify.global’s business challenges into Data & Analytics solutions.
• Build Azure pipelines and data connections in Spotfire.
• Capture and translate dynamic business priorities into data and analytics user stories.
• Build data pipelines and datasets in Databricks.
• Align with stakeholders, architects, and team members on design choices and requirements.

Requirements

• Strong software and/or data engineering background, preferably a Master in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in working as a Data engineer or Cloud engineer, preferably in a highly complex environment like hirify.global.
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks (e.g., Togaf) and modeling tools (e.g., Archimate).
• 2+ years (hands-on) experience in designing and building both batch and streaming architectures.
• Data modeling experience on non-business process data domains (e.g., IoT, machine data).
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native services like Databricks, Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, Kubernetes/AKS and Docker.
• Python & PySpark (4+ years) and deep knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
• SQL (4+ years) background, understanding OLAP/BI querying patterns, and practical knowledge in creating these solutions.
• Experience with storage formats such as parquet and delta lake.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Agile Release trains, GIT & API development.
