What you will do

• Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, and optimized software solutions using C++ and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to technology communities to foster technical growth.
• Adhere to secure coding practices and implement effective unit testing to ensure software reliability.
• Drive strategy, manage risks, and advise stakeholders on technical and business impacts.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Prague
• English: B2 level or higher required
• Strong experience in low latency C++ programming, multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with SQL or KDB database technologies.
• Knowledge of financial markets, trading systems, and market data protocols (ITCH, FAST, FIX) is highly valued.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Shell is a plus.
