Technical Lead

TL;DR

Technical Lead (Fullstack): Leading a cross-functional squad to design, build, and deliver scalable microservices and frontend applications using .NET, Azure, React, and Next.js with an accent on microservice architecture, clean code, and team mentorship. Location: Hybrid, Liverpool HQ (3 days onsite)

Salary: £70,000–£85,000

What you will do

• Lead a multidisciplinary squad to deliver high-quality, production-ready software
• Design and build scalable microservices in .NET and Azure
• Collaborate with frontend developers using React and Next.js to deliver seamless user experiences
• Partner with product managers, business analysts, and designers to translate customer needs into technical plans
• Mentor developers and promote best engineering practices
• Drive technical discussions and contribute to engineering standards and architecture evolution

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid with presence in Liverpool HQ 3 days a week
• Proven experience leading software delivery in microservice-based environments
• Strong technical background in .NET and Azure
• Experience mentoring developers in agile teams
• Product-focused mindset balancing speed, scalability, and user experience
• Visa: At least one year remaining on Graduate or Post-Study Work visa; no visa sponsorship available

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and clean architecture principles
