What you will do
- Set strategic direction and lead revenue accounting, billing, and collections teams aligned with hyper-growth and multi-product monetization.
- Design and scale end-to-end revenue processes supporting complex licensing and hybrid/public cloud models.
- Drive automation and standardization of billing and revenue systems for multi-billion-dollar scalability.
- Ensure compliance with ASC 606, ASC 340-40, and US GAAP, managing external audits and SOX controls.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance to influence deal structures and revenue recognition.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing revenue organization.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States with 10+ years accounting experience including 6+ years in revenue leadership in software, cloud, or data infrastructure.
- CPA with expertise in US GAAP, ASC 606, and ASC 340-40.
- Experience with complex software licensing, hybrid consumption, and public cloud monetization models.
- Proven ability to architect and scale quote-to-cash processes and teams in high-growth software companies.
- Familiarity with Netsuite, Netsuite ARM, SFDC, Tableau, and financial systems implementation.
- Strong project management and communication skills to explain complex revenue concepts.
Nice to have
- Experience in high-growth enterprise software, data infrastructure, or cloud platform environments.
- Experience with large datasets or complex usage-metering environments.
- Prior involvement in consumption-based business models.
