TL;DR

Commercial Operations Associate (TravelTech): Supporting commercial teams across sales, supplier relations, and account work with an accent on sales activities, relationship management, and operational efficiency. Focus on coordinating cross-functional teams, improving processes, and executing day-to-day operational tasks within a fast-paced travel environment.

Location: Hybrid, required to work from Cambridge, MA office at least 3 days per week

Salary: $75,000–$85,000

What you will do

  • Support sales activities including prospect research, materials preparation, joining discovery calls, and helping with proposals and RFPs.
  • Coordinate and maintain relationships with supplier partners.
  • Assist account teams with client requests, reporting, meeting preparation, and handling escalations.
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, content, and events.
  • Connect and communicate across sales, marketing, account, product, and supplier teams.
  • Improve and document processes, support team organization, and handle day-to-day operational tasks.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the corporate travel ecosystem (TMC, OBT, supplier, or related environment)
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working across cross-functional global teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and execute.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and willing to take on varied tasks.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Google Suite.
