What you will do

• Assist with the design and implementation of Tax datasets and canonical/Global Tax data models.
• Facilitate divisional adoption of the firm’s Data Governance Framework.
• Analyze and translate business requirements into long-term data models.
• Apply the data governance framework to ensure high data quality for complex tax calculations and reporting obligations.
• Build automation and workflows to uplift data control gaps and implement data strategies.
• Work with business partners, technology leaders, and data engineers to improve data systems functionality and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with one or more mainstream programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C, Scala, C++).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SQL.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with various stakeholders.
• Strong sense of ownership and driven to manage tasks to completion.

Nice to have

• Experience in a visualization tool such as Tableau.
• Experience dealing with structured or unstructured data.
• Experience working with databases (e.g., Oracle, Sybase IQ, Snowflake, Hadoop).
• Experience with Alteryx.
• Interest in applying technical knowledge to the Financial Services industry.
