What you will do
- Respond to complex Azure technical service requests and provide Tier 2 support for cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software, API, integration, and infrastructure issues.
- Lead incident response and participate in on-call rotations for critical issues.
- Document issues, maintain runbooks, and create technical documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams to ensure high-quality support and customer satisfaction.
- Support multiple cloud and hardware solutions and contribute to service desk process improvements.
Requirements
- Location: Based in or near Williamsville, NY, United States
- 4–7+ years of experience in Azure technical support or similar customer-facing technical roles.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, Azure CLI, PowerShell, and networking protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work some weekends and later hours to support a 24x7 business.
- Fluent English communication skills.
Nice to have
- ITIL certification.
- Programming/scripting experience (Bash, Python, PowerShell, PHP).
- Experience with virtualization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
