Decision Scientist (Payments)

TL;DR

Decision Scientist (Payments): Shaping payments products by leveraging data to drive impactful decision-making with an accent on identifying strategic opportunities, validating value through statistical methods, and monitoring KPIs. Focus on using A/B testing, regression analysis, and self-service dashboards to provide data-driven recommendations and insights to a cross-functional product team.

Location: Hybrid in Lithuania (Vilnius or Kaunas offices are mentioned). 2 days in office are recommended but not enforced. Opportunity to spend up to 90 days per year on workation, with 21 days outside the EU.

Salary: €3,200 – €4,300 gross per month

What you will do

• Partner with product teams and stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Test and analyze developed opportunities using statistical methods and visualization tools to validate business impact.
• Select, calculate, and monitor team's key performance indicators, proactively flagging issues.
• Enable team and stakeholders to leverage data for business insights via self-service dashboards.
• Contribute to a data-driven culture by promoting best practices in analytics and decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience in a Decision Science or Data Analytics role.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with SQL and Python.
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of statistical methods (A/B testing, regression analysis, inferential techniques).
• Highly results-oriented and comfortable with iterative processes.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
