What you will do

• Resolve critical customer technical escalations using Java, database, and web API/UI skills.
• Identify root causes, propose fixes, and develop debugging tools in collaboration with product teams.
• Provide timely information to customer-facing teams to improve satisfaction.
• Mentor technical support and junior engineers on technical issues and best practices.
• Build relationships across Customer Services, R&D, and data center operations as a technical expert.
• Champion support and debugging initiatives and develop high-quality internal tools.

Requirements

• Location: Dublin, Ireland (onsite)
• English: B2 level or higher
• 5-10 years of relevant technical experience with strong Java or similar programming skills.
• Experience with IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global / Force.com development.
• Frontend development skills in JavaScript and HTML5.
• Mobile app development experience (iOS/Android Simulator).
• Experience with Oracle SQL Developer and log parsing in Splunk.
• Leadership experience in leading teams or cross-team projects.
