TL;DR

Strategic Account Manager (Application Security): Driving growth and expanding strategic accounts within Federal Civilian Agencies with an accent on new business development and value-based selling. Focus on managing complex sales cycles, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders, and leveraging channel partners.

Location: **Willingness to travel as needed, primarily within the U.S.**, and **must be legally authorized to work in the United States**. The role is based in **Washington, DC**.

Salary: OTE Range $300,000 to $330,000

What you will do

  • Own and grow relationships within assigned federal accounts, driving new business and expansion.
  • Manage multiple sales opportunities using a consultative, value-based approach.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and business plans for target accounts.
  • Establish and nurture trusted-partner relationships with key stakeholders and channel partners.
  • Orchestrate complex sales cycles involving diverse business and technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate account information and activity records in Salesforce, providing insights to internal teams.

Requirements

  • Proven success selling Subscription, SaaS, and Cloud solutions to **Federal Civilian Agencies** and Federal System Integrators.
  • Strong understanding and application of MEDDIC / MEDDPICC for opportunity qualification.
  • Experience selling SaaS-based security or software security solutions.
  • Demonstrated executive presence, professionalism, and excellent listening and communication skills.
  • A true sales hunter with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • **Bachelor’s degree required**.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in startup or international environments.
  • High level of technical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools.
