Software Development Engineer (Fullstack, .NET)

TL;DR

Senior Software Development Engineer (Fullstack, .NET): Building and optimizing customer-facing features and next-generation workflows with an accent on payment processing, search optimization, and property management workflow optimization. What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery and domain modeling of feature epics across domains.
• Architect React app structure and design GraphQL schemas with clear boundaries.
• Build Node.js BFF & Kotlin services for property management, payment processing, search relevance, and guest lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product and design on roadmap sizing, sequencing, and MVP scoping.
• Implement API and data changes enabling new UI capabilities.
• Mentor SDE I/II engineers and guide containerization & AWS deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional C#/.NET experience.
• Strong understanding of CLR internals (memory, threading, async, GC basics).
• Advanced SQL Server skills including query tuning, indexing, and transactions.
• Hands-on experience with API design (REST standards, error models, pagination, versioning).
• Familiarity with architectural patterns such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD), layered, and event-driven.
• Effective written & verbal technical communication skills.
• Proven mentorship experience in improving code quality norms.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET 6/8 performance features (Span, source generators, minimal APIs).
• Knowledge of gRPC service & streaming design.
• Exposure to REST API development (Node / Java / Kotlin) and GraphQL.
• Strong JavaScript & TypeScript fundamentals (ES2022+, types, generics).
• Experience with AWS (ECS, RDS/Aurora, CloudWatch, SQS/SNS, API Gateway) or Azure equivalents.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Kafka/event streaming and eventual consistency patterns.
• Knowledge of performance/load testing (BenchmarkDotNet, k6, JMeter) and security practices (OWASP Top 10, threat modeling).
• Proficiency in container build optimization (Docker multi-stage, caching) and cross-stack familiarity.
