Automation Specialist

TL;DR

Automation Specialist: Implement and support industrial automation projects and services within the packaging area with an accent on technical support and sales assistance. Focus on designing, commissioning, and troubleshooting automation platforms like Siemens, Rockwell, and Beckhoff.

Location: Puteaux, France. This is a hybrid role requiring approximately 50%-60% travel, working within a virtual team across Europe.

What you will do

• Prepare, design, and implement Automation Projects.
• Coordinate work with other automation engineers, consultants, and suppliers.
• Provide technical concepts to support pre-projects and sales phases.
• Carry out remote support, service, and start-ups for hirify.global Packaging equipment.
• Carry out commissioning of hirify.global Line Controllers equipment and fault-find on extra low & low voltage systems and databases.
• Edit PLC programs, complete project handovers, and support sales.

Requirements

• University degree in Information Technologies or Automation Engineering.
• 5-7 years of experience in the industrial automation sector, preferably in the liquid food industry.
• Thorough knowledge of Automation, MES, Industrial IT, and data handling.
• Proven understanding and very good knowledge of Siemens, Rockwell, and Beckhoff software/equipment.
• Full driving licence.
• Very good command of English and French, both written and verbal is required.
