TL;DR

Localizations Manager (AI/Marketing): Leading end-to-end localization operations across 30+ languages for consumer products with an accent on native-level quality, cultural adaptation, and performance monitoring. Focus on leveraging AI tools (Lokalise, ChatGPT, DeepL) to drive conversion improvements and ensure brand integrity across diverse markets.

Location: Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET.

What you will do

  • Oversee localization of websites, email campaigns, ad creatives, funnels, and marketing assets across 30+ languages using Lokalise and AI tools.
  • Ensure localized content reads naturally, culturally fits the target market, and avoids literal or machine-sounding translations.
  • Leverage Lokalise, AI models (e.g., ChatGPT, DeepL, Manus AI), and internal guidelines to achieve high-quality outputs.
  • Evaluate the impact of localized content on conversion rates, user engagement, and product experience across different markets.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables across multiple brands and languages, prioritizing tasks and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand managers, designers, copywriters, and developers to ensure a seamless user experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in localization or translation of marketing and product content at scale.
  • Hands-on experience with Lokalise.
  • Strong experience using AI-powered translation tools (ChatGPT, DeepL, Manus AI, or similar).
  • Proven project management skills across multiple languages and stakeholders.
  • Strong marketing and cultural adaptation insight, understanding tone and nuance across markets.
  • Strong awareness of UI/UX considerations for multilingual products.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience with GitHub or working with product teams that use Git-based workflows.

Hiring process

  • Recruiter Screening (40 minutes): Discuss your experience, tools used, and process for achieving native-sounding translations.
  • Task Assignment: Showcase your ability to localize assets using AI tools and set up A/B test strategy.
  • Final Interview (60 minutes): Meet with the Marketing Director to share your strategic vision and ideas.
